HELLo it's Oswaldo

I'm a product designer who began my journey at UC San Diego, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. I'm continuing that journey at the University of Washington, pursuing a master's degree in Human-Centered Design & Engineering.

My approach to design is shaped by both creativity and evidence. With a background in programming and statistics, I bring those skills into UX research to better understand users and make design decisions grounded in research, data, and real needs. Over the past four years, I've worked across a range of design projects that have helped me grow as both a designer and researcher.

Looking forward, I want to focus on accessibility and designing with people whose voices aren't always represented in the products we use. That could mean creating voice experiences that better support people with visual or mobility impairments, or designing systems that make sound-dependent environments more accessible to people with hearing loss.

Ultimately, I want to be part of the conversations that shape future products, services, and technologies—helping ensure we're designing not just for the average user, but for our aging population, people with disabilities, and all of us.
